Location
The pleasant Hotel Tirreno Rome is located within 5 minutes' walk of Brancaccio Theatre and features a lift and a tour desk. Opened in 1900, the 3-star smoke-free hotel welcomes guests in Rione Monti with its many bars and restaurants, boasting a position 2.1 km from the ancient Roman Circus Maximus, which is perfect for a family weekend.
This Rome hotel is notable for its quiet location, nearly 10 minutes' walk from the 5th-century church "Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore" and in the vicinity of Roma Termini train station. When staying at the classic Tirreno Rome, you'll be just 1.9 km from the aqueduct-fed rococo Trevi Fountain. The accommodation is situated within a few blocks of the modest Santa Maria della Vittoria Church, and Termini bus station lies approximately a 10-minute walk away. Around 400 metres from the hotel guests can reach Cavour tube station.
Overlooking the city, the 44 rooms are appointed with air conditioning, as well as modern facilities such as a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The rooms feature private bathrooms. A separate toilet and a shower, along with hair dryers and towels, are included in the bathrooms.
A buffet breakfast is available daily at the Tirreno Rome. Also, the property features a lounge bar. La Forchetta d'Oro serves various kinds of Lazio dishes just around the corner from this hotel.
Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Hotel Tirreno truly exceeded my expectations in every way. The room's modern amenities, including the efficient air conditioning, made for a comfortable retreat from the hot Italian days. The impeccable service stood out as the staff not only helped with restaurant recommendations but also surprised me by finding and returning my lost necklace. Lastly, the hotel's proximity to delightful dining options like Ristorante La Forchetta d'Oro and Falls Road Italian & Irish Pub made exploring the local culinary scene a true delight. Without a doubt, Hotel Tirreno's attention to detail and exceptional service have set a new standard for my hotel experiences.
